Through our Voices of Strength initiative, we invited our team to share personal stories of the remarkable women who have guided, inspired, and supported them. In this second part of our series, we highlight six more inspiring stories of determination, courage, and the lasting impact of strong women.

Vrunda Vasa, Senior Medical Writer, reflects on the enduring strength of her mother, a teacher who spent over three decades shaping young minds while overcoming personal and societal challenges. Despite many hardships, she remained dedicated to education, family, and community. Her story is a tribute to the countless women who give selflessly while carrying their own burdens in silence—proving that strength is often found in persistence and quiet dedication.

For Vasupradha S H, Junior Associate – Medical Device Services, her mother has been the guiding force behind her success. Her lessons extended beyond words—she demonstrated the value of consistency, discipline, and showing up every day. From excelling in academics to competing as a National-Level Softball player, Vasupradha credits her achievements to her mother’s influence. Her story is a reminder that dedication and encouragement create a lasting impact that shapes future generations.

For Prasanna Lakshmi Koka, Senior Technical Writer, her late grandmother, Koka Jhanaki Bhai, was proof that learning has no age limit. Born in an era with limited opportunities for women, she defied expectations—teaching herself to read, manage finances, and even navigate technology at 88 years old. Her story is a powerful example of curiosity, adaptability, and the belief that knowledge is a lifelong pursuit.

Sonali Mohapatra, Medical Writer I, shares a deeply personal tribute to her mother, a woman who faced unimaginable hardships without complaint. From enduring difficult pregnancies to raising three children with love and dedication, she exemplified the meaning of perseverance. Her unwavering commitment ensured that her children had opportunities she never had. Sonali now carries her mother’s lessons forward as she steps into motherhood herself, honoring the sacrifices that shaped her.

Kasturi Rao, Associate Manager – Medical Device Services, honors her mother, a woman who made incredible sacrifices when she left her home country to start a new life. Through cultural shifts, personal challenges, and adversity, she remained the heart of the family. Her love for Kannada culture and lifelong learning led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Kannada, showing that passion and growth have no limits. Her journey is a testament to resilience, faith, and the pursuit of knowledge.

For Lakshmi Priya Moturi, Medical Writer II, her sister, Jahnavi Moturi, has been more than a sibling—she has been a mentor, supporter, and inspiration. Balancing a demanding corporate career while nurturing her passion for art, Jahnavi created an art platform to uplift young talent. Her ability to juggle responsibilities while helping others flourish showcases the impact of dedication, creativity, and unwavering belief in one’s dreams.

For Dr. Pratibha Mishra, Senior Manager – Medical Device Services, leadership isn’t always about titles or positions—sometimes, it is found in everyday life. Her mother, Mrs. Kiran Mishra, exemplified integrity, discipline, and resilience in every action. She instilled values through quiet determination, showing that success is not just about achieving goals but about becoming someone who leads with compassion and strength. Her ability to support, guide, and adapt has shaped Dr. Pratibha’s own approach to leadership and life.
