Corporate Social Responsibility

We are excited to announce that Celegence recently organized a successful Blood Donation Drive at our Bengaluru office in collaboration with the Lions Club team. This was a first-of-its-kind initiative at our organization, with our dedicated employees volunteering for such a noble cause.

This effort was part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity under the Employee Wellness program, focusing on “giving back to society.” We are incredibly proud of our team’s enthusiasm and commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

Together, we can make a difference! Here’s a glimpse of today’s drive for us to cherish.

We are excited to share that our second CSR event ‘Sensory Cards’, following the Blood Donation Drive, was a tremendous success. On August 22nd, 42 Celegence employees joined an activity at a government school in South Bangalore, where they collaborated with 50 students from grades 3 and 4 to create sensory cards for visually impaired children in grades 1 through 4. These sensory cards will benefit 280 students throughout the academic year and, if well-maintained, could last another 3-4 years.

The cards, enhanced with various textures, will assist these young learners in perceiving visuals and words through touch, fostering interactive and inclusive learning. This initiative has significantly supported early childhood education by enhancing the children’s linguistic and motor skills, while promoting holistic development, boosting confidence and self-esteem, and encouraging active engagement in their learning process.

The joy and satisfaction experienced by our employees underscore the profound impact and happiness that comes from giving back to society. Such contributions highlight the benefits of regular involvement in community activities.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Leadership team for the continued support, and to all the employees participated for their enthusiastic participation and energy.

Thank you for supporting the Joy of Giving initiative at our Bangalore Celegence office. Together, we’ve donated the following items to Goonj, our CSR partner, which will make a meaningful difference to someone in need.

Approx 12-15 families can be served with the below items collected at the office premise:

• Seven boxes of clothes
• Two boxes of toys
• Two boxes of shoes

Volunteers from various organizations, including ours, donate clothes to Goonj, where they are recycled and transformed into useful products. These recycled products were also part of Goonj’s stall during the Diwali festival at Celegence Bangalore office, where our employees eagerly purchased the interesting items. This not only supported to the livelihood of the women behind the scenes but also helped them celebrate a brighter and more joyful Diwali with their families.
